BIG TICKET REWARDS: CAN PEOPLE CHIP IN?
Yes - as I mentioned in the reward descriptions, there should be a reasonable limit on the amount of people so that, for example, a private show doesn’t become a BIG show, and a dinner doesn’t become a BANQUET; but I do want to make these tiers as affordable as possible, should you want to ask a few friends to pony up!

VEGAN DINNER: IS THE PRICE OF DINNER INCLUDED?
This is a good question that I will admit to you, i had not completely thought out. But here’s where I come down on it - if you get 10 friends to chip in for it, then the cost of dinner obviously skyrockets to ten times what it would be were just one person and myself. So all i would ask is that you be willing to work with me on it to allow me to not spend all of the money for that tier on the dinner itself. because that would not only defeat the purpose of using it to work on the record, etc., but it would in fact, run directly counter to that purpose. Again, though, if you’re willing to work something out with me, I’m willing to work something out with you!

CAN I COMBINE REWARDS?
This has been a popular question, and the answer(s) is (are), NO, technically you cannot; but YES there’s a pretty reasonable work-around to make sure you get the reward(s) that you want. 1. You can just change your dollar amount pledged to accommodate the cost of the extra reward level and message me letting me know you’ve done so. I will then make a note RIGHT IN THE SYSTEM THEY’VE SET UP FOR ME, that will remind me that you are getting x, y, AND z. 2. If you just want one extra thing, but not a whole other pledge level (like, you got the CD, but now you also want the vinyl; or you’re getting the 7”s but you’d also like a CD, etc.), you can do the same thing, but message me first, and I’ll let you know the specific item cost (as opposed to the whole tier package). You absolutely can. To adjust your pledge level up or down tiers, or to add to your pledge for extra items as described above (or to cancel entirely, for that matter), you would do the following: 1. Head to your project page (presumably you are here already, or it is a simple back click away). 2. At the top there should be a banner with a green button that says “Manage your pledge.” Click it, and you’ll be taken to the Pledge Manager page. 3. There, find and click the blue button that says “Change your pledge.” 4. On the following page, you can adjust your pledge amount.

IS THIS A BAND ALBUM? SOLO ALBUM? WHAT.
It’s a band album in that most of it is pretty fully fleshed out, instrumentation-wise. Often times more so than even the official “band” albums that I’ve done. It’s also “solo,” in a sense though, because, as I mentioned in the story on the home page here, I did make it largely in isolation, bit by bit, over time. I can tell you that I’m hoping to actually EXPAND the touring band to better reflect the layers happening in a lot of the songs. I hope that helps!

SO HOW DOES THE WHOLE 7" THING WORK, AGAIN?
Ok. So, if you pledge to join the 7” “club,” you’ll get the digital download of the album, obviously, but I’m also going to break the album up across a series of 7”s with A-sides being the album tracks, and B-sides being all non-album tracks. The 7”s will come in a WELL DESIGNED box for easy storage and carrying, and each of them will be enclosed in a cover of some kind. I think we’re probably at the funding level now where I can consider putting some MORE STUFF in the box as well - like offering all the album art and lyrics in a booklet, for example.
Some people have inquired about getting this and the LP or CD - it’s doable - please see the “CAN I COMBINE REWARDS” question above.
Some people have asked if I can sign the 7” boxes. I have to demure from answering this for the moment because I’m not entirely sure of the manufacturing and shipping process for these yet. I’ll have to update when i know more.

YOU SHOULD RELEASE THE DEMOS FROM THE NO LONGER AVAILABLE DEMO TAPE TIER ANOTHER WAY.
Yeah… Maybe! I set a limit of 100 on them because that’s about the number of blank cassettes I have on hand. It’s possible that I may get more and open it up for a limited number, but I have concerns about making it generally available. I mean, first of all, I want to be fair to the people who pledged for it. I realize that some of you may just not have seen it in time, and it’s with an eye toward accommodating you that I might try to open it up again or offer it as an add on. IF this happens, though, I probably won’t be able to put it into effect until the last week, and I’ll be sure to send out an update if I do. My other concern is just that… they’re demos. There’s something private and special about them to me, which is why I felt it appropriate that I only offer them in this format and with the limited number that I have. THAT SAID, the love and good will that’s been shown to me through this campaign so far makes me feel like there’s really no reason to hold this tuff back from anyone who’d like to hear it. In fact, I probably owe it to you. I’ll figure something out!

YOU'RE OVER YOUR GOAL. WHERE'S THE EXTRA DOSH GOING?
Ah - THE BIG QUESTION! Well, a lot of it is going to go right back into this project. Funding it so fast enables me to shift my own production goals and schedules into high gear almost a month before I would’ve otherwise, to consider beefing up the quality of what’s already on offer, and to think about some new things to add if we want to go the stretch goal route. It ENSURES me that we can actually make all of this stuff, make it good, and make it soon. I’m going to hold some of it in reserve for tour support and tour merch (which, if you’ve been to one of my shows in the last 5-9 years, you know has been somewhat… lacking). I’m going to put some of it into my studio to make a more viable place for other artists to hopefully use to make their OWN stuff. And… I think I’d like to hear about something about something each person who has backed me here (and who wants to share) cares about. I’ll leave that at that for now. As more comes into focus, and as I drill down on specific numbers, I’ll be as transparent or as opaque as you want me to be. If you want to retain some mystery about it all (which I get), I’ll make sure I head every transparency update with a spoiler alert!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
